The Trefechan Community Association was established in 2002 and registered as a Limited Company with Charitable status in 2003

Our mission:

  • To establish the Community Resource Centre as a working self sustainable business managed by the local community
  • To deliver affordable and necessary services to the community by working closely with the Local Authority, and other Statutory and Voluntary Organisations in the the County Borough of Merthyr Tydfil
  • To provide resources for young people and senior citizens alike
  • To provide Training Facilities and assist in the creation of jobs within our community
     

The association now manages two facilities in the village and employs 2 part time and 1 full time employee.
